Customers of participating businesses may receive SMS messages when they request service, schedule an appointment, reschedule an appointment, cancel an appointment, ask for customer-service follow-up, or initiate a text conversation with the business.Types of messages:
Messages may include appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, appointment updates, reschedule confirmations, cancellation confirmations, and direct customer-service replies related to the customer’s request.How customers opt in:1. Phone call consent:
During a phone call, Sammy may ask the customer for their mobile phone number for an appointment or service request. Before any SMS message is sent, Sammy asks for consent using language such as:“Would you like to receive text messages related to this appointment or service request, including confirmations, reminders, updates, reschedule confirmations, cancellation confirmations, and customer-service replies? Message frequency varies based on your request and appointment activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.”If the customer says yes, Hello Sammy may send transactional SMS messages related to that appointment or service request.
